A LE CARTEL x BROKOVICH collaboration

The L’ÉPICERIE LE CARTEL print is part of the PARIS EST UNE FÊTE collection.

LE CARTEL borrowed his famous phrase “PARIS EST UNE FÊTE” (Paris is a party) from Ernest Hemingway to make it the title of its new collection. This iconic cry from the heart and homage to the French capital was chosen to celebrate the arrival of the brand in France in 2024 and the inauguration of its first European store. For the occasion, 24 French and Quebec artists were carefully selected and put to the test to capture the essence of “Paris est une fête” on textile. The result is 48 t-shirts and prints with unique styles, which combine humor, social commitments and an ode to Paris.

An artist passionate about drawing since his childhood, Thomas BROQUET, aka BROKOVICH, grew up in the heart of a Jura ski resort. His proximity to board sports naturally brings him closer to skateboarding and its identity culture in the movement of street art, graffiti and any form of art in public space. After attending the LAUSANNE cantonal art school (ECAL), BROKOVICH specialized in graphic design. His artistic versatility grants him the ability to brilliantly embrace the roles of illustrator, graphic designer, enameler, while distinguishing himself as a visual artist who has forged a singular artistic universe, dotted with distinctive signs making his works immediately recognizable, real icons.
