The PARIS EST UN CHAT print is part of the PARIS EST UNE FÊTE collection.

LE CARTEL borrowed his famous phrase “PARIS EST UNE FÊTE” (Paris is a party) from Ernest Hemingway to make it the title of its new collection. This iconic cry from the heart and homage to the French capital was chosen to celebrate the arrival of the brand in France in 2024 and the inauguration of its first European store. For the occasion, 24 French and Quebec artists were carefully selected and put to the test to capture the essence of “Paris est une fête” on textile. The result is 48 t-shirts and prints with unique styles, which combine humor, social commitments and an ode to Paris.

Trained at the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts, Michael Eveno, alias Grems, is a contemporary artist who, for more than fifteen years, has distinguished himself with a unique approach combining abstract art, drawing and graffiti. Free from all constraints, playing with codes and conventions, his work exudes an insolence and carefreeness behind which shine through an academic rigor and balance, implicitly outlined throughout all of his compositions. His pronounced coloristic sensitivity, his flawless technical mastery, and his desire to express himself on a multitude of media give his abundant, intrepid and unpredictable work a constant source of fascination and questioning.
